After remixing many of the 15 audio recordings for the 'Solo Booking Teasers' video series, I'm ready to move on to something else. I have more songs that could be added to the series, but enough with the covers for now.
I was going through my files and came across one of my favorites from way back. Written just prior, this recording was a big deal to me, because it was my first recording that kind of sounded like a full band (on my own) with the addition of the fake bass guitar part using the acoustic guitar, and the first time I ever dubbed so many tracks for a song. The reel-to-reel tape box has the note, "my first 15 track recording!" Recording started 12/30/90 and ended New Year's Day, 1991.
The only equipment I had for creating was my Teac A2340 4-track reel-to-reel deck, a Hohner 6 string acoustic guitar with a sound hole pickup, a Digitech sound processor, a few Shure microphones and my drums.
Here is, "Don't Be Long."
