Recorded in 1995 on a Marantz PMD 720 4-track cassette deck, "There's Always Something," as well as all my other songs whose subject matter is the Within, is inspired by the reading of several books by the late author, Joel S. Goldsmith. My favorite: 'A Parenthesis In Eternity'
While pondering where to go musically to emulate the subject matter, I got the idea to use the saw tooth synth in the middle song-break to inspire a sonic vision of the awesome wonder and power of our Creator.
