The second song I recorded on my new Marantz PMD 720 4-track cassette deck after my Teac A2340 reel-to-reel crapped out on me.
As with all my recordings, I had to record one instrument/vocal track at a time. At the time, I didn't have a drum set, so I used an Akai keyboard I had to record and mix together 3 drum tracks. What a pain! It came out okay, but man!!!!
In addition to the drum tracks, I used the Akai to record the bass line, too. Three guitar tracks and 4 vocal tracks later the song was done.
