The BS Sessions (1985)
So I thought I heard a brass section for this song. I ended up adding 3 brass tracks and strings to the original monaural recording. My main goal was to make this recording sound in stereo. The issue I have had is that with all the added tracking to do so, it was very hard not to bury the vocals. In all there were an additional 11 tracks added to the recording. I wanted to hear ALL the instruments in the mix, but had to bring them down as to not cover the vocals on the original. This is the mix I decided on. For now…
On another note, between recovering from my leg injury and my wife breaking hers on Christmas morning, I have been out of work for 9+ months. When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. Right?! So I have spent the time available building up this, as well as my YouTube and Reverbnation sites. I won't be having much time off now for pursuing my musical endeavors, so I wanted to get this done before work starts tomorrow.
